My Goal
My name is Debbie Beukema and I am a member of The Southern Nevada Chapter of
the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. On October 24th, 2004, I am going to run the
Nike San Francisco Marathon on behalf of Joshua Yates, a 12 year-old Nevada
boy suffering from cancer.
Joshua is such a great kid and my goal is to honor Joshua's courage and
stamina by raising $26,200 ($1000 for each mile I complete) for the
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the
world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood
cancer research, education and patient services. And they have made it easy
for businesses to support individual runners with great reciprocal benefits.
Your Contribution
May I ask your consideration for a proposal that I think can benefit my
cause and your business? Would you consider becoming one of my Corporate
Sponsors?
Every donation is valuable and appreciated. The levels of corporate sponsorship
range from Bronze at $500 to Titleship at $25,000.
Each level provides
different degrees of recognition for your company. See the list of all
the choices with links to the benefits. For example, one choice you might consider is
becoming a Gold Sponsor for $2,000. Not only will you be able to receive the
right to use team logos, photos and images in your marketing materials for
a year, but your logo will be printed on all of our Marathon singlets and
jerseys. It could be a great way to advertise and distinguish your company,
support a community athlete, and give a tax-deductible donation to one of
the pre-eminent charities in the nation.
