Hitting The Goal

This week I started ramping down my training in preparation for the marathon in a few weeks. It feels weird, almost like I'm losing all my fitness. Today I only have to do a 10 miler and compared to the 20 last week, it seems like almost nothing. I was talking about this to my friend Josh, an ultra-marathoner who works at the Village Runner. He totally understands how it feels, but says it's the right thing to do in order to have the maximum training and freshness for the race date.

OH YEAH!

Big thanks to my ole Transamerica colleague Tad Brenneman for his recent online donation. With his help and yours, I have now raised my minimum goal of $3000.00! Of course, all donations are still welcome if you want to come along for the ride, help Joshua, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. But for me - I'm done with the asking, the begging, the pleading. Now it's on to the Race!
